I am pleased to announce that version 0.6.3 of YajHFC has been released today.

This version is a maintenance version that incorporates only some bugfixes, but no new features. New features/changes:

• Minor bugfixes
• Linux fax printer should work again with newer Ubuntu versions
• Java Runtime included in Windows setup by default

The following translations have not been updated for a few releases and are searching new translators for the next release:

The YajHFC source code repositories and the issue tracker have moved to GitHub
The Bitbucket repositories will continue to exist for now, but no longer be updated; in June 2020 they will be deleted by Bitbucket (for details see here).

If you are a just a user of the program and not interested in the source code, this will change nothing for you.

Hello to all,

because of Oracle's license change of Java for commercial users, I created a new YajHFC setup.exe for Windows that now includes its own JRE based on OpenJDK. (maybe a bit late, I know...)

This means you will no longer need to install a separate Java package on Windows (64-bit).

You can get it at:

If you find any problems with it, please let me know...

This version has a new feature (user comments for faxes) that may require some work on your side when you upgrade, so I jumped to a new minor version.

This is primarily a maintenance release to roll up all the changes and enhancements since the last release.
New features/changes:

• Bug fixes for phone book: Can now handle identical items, multi-select no longer "kills" entries
• Changed behaviour of Filter from fax number: Specified characters are now removed completely instead of being replaced by spaces
• Some parameters (e.g. number and time to send) of jobs in the sending queue can now be edited

• New translation: Chinese simplified (zh_CN).
• The existing Chinese translation has been renamed to Chinese traditional (zh_TW)
• Several minor enhancements and bug fixes

I am pleased to announce that version 0.5.1 of YajHFC has been released today.

New features/changes:

• Added console only add on
• Changed URLs from yajhfc.berlios.de to www.yajhfc.de
• Some bugfixes and minor feature enhancements

This is actually a rather minor release (except for the console add-on).
The focus is mainly to collect all the bug fixes and small enhancement from the last half year and of course to update all URLs to the new homepage.

Because berlios.de will close down on 2011-12-31 YajHFC moves to http://www.yajhfc.de. Please update your bookmarks accordingly.

The source code repository and issue tracker will now be hosted on Google Code.

The mailing lists will move to Google Groups accordingly (you will need a Google account to join; if that is an issue for you, please let me know)
